Leading PCB manufacturer Optiprint AG invests €8.5M in 2000sqm factory extension and new equipment

Construction of a new 2000sqm extension is well underway at leading Swiss PCB manufacturer Optiprint’s Berneck facility. When the building is completed in late summer 2012 the last remaining production department will relocate from Optiprint’s original plant and headquarters in Rehetobel to Berneck which will become the new HQ.

Along with the investment in building, and to satisfy high demand for complex flex, flex-rigid and high-frequency PCB product, Optiprint this year has invested in new and additional laser machining capability, fully-automated measurement equipment and state-of-art electrical test. Furthermore a new multilayer-lamination-press and a horizontal inner-layer bond-promoting line are ordered and will be installed in the new factory extension during the third quarter of 2012.
